Himatangi Trip

AT THE BEACH (HIMATANGI)

On Saturday we all went to the beach.  Most of us went on a quad bike ride with Julie.

There was a big log with water around it and we all played on it, we played ships.

Scott (Zoe A’s dad) took a photo of us jumping off the log.

My favourite thing was the quad bike ride with Julie.

Camping at Himatangi

In the dark my friends and I got up to mischief. We ran around with our torches. On the last day we went to the park in Levin.

Camping at Himatangi Beach Holiday Park

On Friday me and my family went to Himatangi Beach Holiday Park.
We were supposed to get there in the early evening but there was some traffic and we got stuck in it. Also at home we had to do the last few things. When we got there it was completely dark. I had a bun with marmalade and me and my sister had a hot chocolate. Then bed.
On Saturday me and my sister and daddy went to the park next door. Then I spotted Rachel's caravan in the field. We were just going back when they came.
We had lots of fun but that's another story.

Himatangi
We went camping at Himatangi Beach and we went for a night ride (on my quad motorbike). Jordis and me saw a mouse in the forest. The mouse was like running in front of the motorbike.
We went to this place and there was a big cliff and we went riding up the hill (the sandbowl for motorbike riding). I went riding through the river.
Camping at Himatangi was, was Awesome!

Himatangi Beach Holiday Park!
On Saturday, when everyone had arrived, the office lady came and did a lollie scramble. I got four. Charlie got seven.
A few minutes later we went to the beach. Zoe A walked through the river and on to an island. Once everyone was on the island she said, "Welcome to Sandiago!"
Then we started to climb the sand dunes. To get down off the sand dunes you sit on your bottom and slide. I was the first one to get to the top of the first sand dune. At the top you could see lots of plants on one side, and on the other you could see the beach and the Tasman Sea.

Himatangi Beach Holiday Park!
On Saturday me and dad went to the beach. First we went to see a building made of driftwood. It was huge.
Then we went to the sand dunes. On the sand dunes there were plants growing. Some of the sand was slippery. There was a huge space that has lots of junk.
After that we saw some rabbit prints. Some of them were fresh.
On the way back we saw the girls at the scooter park. We decided to go there too. I went on my scooter for a little bit.
Last we went home. I kicked my rugby ball for about two hours. We had fish and chips for dinner, I only had a pineapple fritter. Then we watched Tom and Jerry: The Fast and the Furry. It was really funny.
I really enjoyed Saturday morning and night.

  3. At Himatangi Beach on Sunday me and the Zoes and Lara were building a sandcastle. Around the sandcastle we made a moat and we found some rocks and decorated the sandcastle. On Saturday and Sunday we went exploring. Zoe A's dad and Charlie and me were playing rugby and doing cartwheels. Me and Eliza (my sister) slept in bunk beds and I was at the top. It was fun at the top. The weekend at Himatangi Beach was excellent!
