Our classes have a photo exhibition "Normandale - Through The Lens". The photos are on display in the hall. There are a few more to go up but they will all be there by the end of the week. Here is a sneak preview of Room 1's photographs.

Macro Photography

Last week we tried using the Macro function on the camera. The macro function usually has a flower symbol like this.
Macro lets you get very close to something and still be able to focus. The advantage of this is that you can take close up photographs of small objects and make them seem larger than life.

Like a Giraffe

The last angle we learnt about is 'like a giraffe'. That means looking down on the thing we are taking a photograph of. Sometimes this means we have to get ourselves up high.

Like a Mouse

We have started exploring taking photographs from different angles to make our images more interesting.

The first angle we tried is taking a photo like a mouse. A mouse is close to the ground, looking along and slightly up. Here are some great examples from our work.
