Make Your Own Thermometer

Today in Room 1 we made and tested a simple thermometer. It was a simple science experiment that was easy to follow (and easy to copy at home). The students' task is to write the instructions as the assessment activity for the writing we have been doing this term.

  1. If you put it in cold water the food colouring will go down but if you put it in hot water the food colouring will go up.Charlie

    Scissors
    A straw
    3 See through cups
    Hot water
    Cold water
    Room tempreture water.
